These Terms of Service govern your use of fosteringtheinnerchild.com and the resources, digital products, coaching, and mentoring offered by Fostering the Inner Child LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website or purchasing an offering, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase an offering.

1. Educational and faith-based services

Our content, products, coaching, and mentoring offer Christian, Scripture-based education and personal support. Melania Macias is not acting as a licensed therapist, psychologist, counselor, physician, or other medical professional through these offerings.

Our services do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions and are not a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical care, or emergency services. Do not stop or change professional care based on something you read on this site or discuss in coaching. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services.

2. Coaching Arrangements and Agreement

Before coaching begins, we will discuss what you would like support with and whether coaching is an appropriate fit for your needs.

We will review the proposed coaching arrangements, including session length, frequency, scheduling, fees, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling policies, confidentiality, and our respective responsibilities. These details will be included in your written coaching agreement.

Coaching sessions take place one-to-one online via Zoom. Any support or communication between sessions will be described in your coaching agreement, including its availability and limits.

You will have an opportunity to review the agreement and ask questions before deciding to proceed.

Submitting a contact form or asking about coaching is an inquiry. It does not book a session or begin a coaching relationship. Session arrangements are confirmed separately.

3. Your Participation and Responsibilities

Coaching is a collaborative partnership. You bring the goals, questions, and experiences you would like to explore, and you remain involved in choosing the direction of our work.

You choose what you share. You are not required to recount painful experiences or discuss something you are not ready to address. You are welcome to ask questions, express concerns, or tell your coach when an approach does not feel useful.

You remain responsible for your decisions and actions. Coaching conversations and resources support your reflection; they do not replace your judgment or advice from qualified professionals when needed.

Your participation includes attending agreed sessions, communicating about scheduling changes, and discussing what support or accountability would be helpful. Between sessions, you may choose actions connected to your goals.

Specific outcomes are not guaranteed. We will review what you are learning and what is useful to you, and discuss adjustments as needed.

4. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

Before you make a payment, we will review the coaching fees, payment arrangements, services included, and applicable cancellation and refund terms. These details will be included in your written coaching agreement.

You will have an opportunity to ask questions before deciding to proceed. Payments are due according to the schedule stated in your coaching agreement.

Coaching fees are nonrefundable once paid, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Please review your agreement carefully before purchasing coaching services.

Payment covers the coaching services described in your agreement. It does not guarantee a particular personal, professional, emotional, or spiritual outcome.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session. Contact Melania Macias using the communication method specified in your coaching agreement.

Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability.

Before coaching begins, we will review how late cancellations, missed appointments, and scheduling changes are handled. Any applicable charges or loss of a session will be stated in your written coaching agreement before you make a payment.

If your coach needs to change an appointment, you will be contacted to arrange an alternative time.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

Your privacy matters. Before coaching begins, we will review confidentiality and its limits, and include these terms in your written coaching agreement.

Coaching conversations are treated as confidential within those agreed limits. Exceptions include disclosures required by law or disclosures needed to respond to an imminent or likely risk of harm to yourself or others.

Other sharing of information from your coaching conversations requires your written consent.

You choose what personal information you share during coaching. You may ask questions about confidentiality before sharing sensitive information.

7. Intellectual Property and Use of Materials

Original website content and coaching materials owned by Fostering The Inner Child or Melania Macias are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Rights in third-party content remain with their respective owners.

Coaching resources provided for your personal use are subject to any usage terms supplied with those resources.

Unless permitted by applicable law or authorized in writing by the rights holder, you may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or adapt protected content or use it in your own courses, programs, or business.

8. Third-party services

We may use third-party platforms to host forms, process payments, schedule sessions, deliver products, or conduct calls and messaging. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of websites we link to but do not operate.

9. Website availability and changes

We work to keep the website and purchased resources available, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance or technical problems. We may update website content and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Changes to an existing paid coaching or mentoring arrangement are handled under the applicable written agreement.

10. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
