How Rejection and Word Curses Create Spiritual Strongholds – And How to Break Free

How Rejection and Word Curses Create Spiritual Strongholds And How to Break Free
Many Christian women struggle silently with fear, anxiety, panic, and inner torment while faithfully serving God. They pray, fast, go to church, and yet feel like something dark is always lurking. Could the root of their battle be tied to rejection and word curses?
The Enemy’s Legal Loophole
The devil is a legalist. He cannot oppress without cause. Proverbs 26:2 tells us a curse without cause cannot land. So, what gives him legal access? Wounds especially from parents create openings in the soul where the enemy can operate.
Rejection: The Seed of Many Strongholds
Parental rejection whether in the womb or in early childhood can sow seeds of self-hatred, confusion, and identity loss. Satan builds his kingdom on trauma and rejection, the opposite of God’s kingdom of love.
Jesus experienced rejection but did not become oppressed because He was rooted in the Father’s love. Without that root, we become vulnerable to a tree of torment:

The Power of Authority and Word Curses
As parents, we carry relational authority. Our words carry power. Genesis 27 and Genesis 31–35 show us how blessings and curses spoken by parents shaped destinies and even brought death. A careless word, spoken in anger or ignorance, can create long-term bondage in a child’s soul.
Demons and Wounds
We are body, soul, and spirit. When we receive Christ, our spirit is made new but our soul often remains wounded. Demons attach to those wounds. If those wounds aren’t healed, the enemy has continued access.
Deliverance Is Real
I’ve lived through torment sleep paralysis, audible voices, demonic manifestations but God used deliverance and inner healing to set me free. The voices that once told me I was unloved, worthless, and hopeless were silenced by the power of God.
